Biography

Teneia Sanders-Eichelberger was born and raised in Jackson, MS. The daughter of an African Methodist Episcopal minister, she grew up singing in church, and quickly became known as a standout soloist. At the age of eighteen, Teneia taught herself to play guitar, and began writing and playing her own songs around Jackson. She moved to Louisville, KY for five years to expand her musical career, followed by a move to Phoenix, AZ where she developed into a highly-regarded singer/songwriter. Teneia has five albums to her credit, multiple singles, and numerous other collaborations with various artists. She also has a background in healing arts, and is a certified reiki practitioner. Teneia has a deep passion for connecting with people through life and music, and helping them find their true purpose.

Nathaniel Henson Jr. was born in Jackson, MS. At the age of 2, he began playing drums for his grandfather’s church where he continued developing that skill along bass guitar. He was later accepted into the Power APAC (Academic and Performing Arts Complex) where he learned and excelled in the many genres of music such as jazz, rock, classical and gospel. After graduating high school, he received a music scholarship to the University of Southern Mississippi located in Hattiesburg, MS. Throughout his tenure, he performed with such jazz greats as Carl Allen, Bill Murphy, the United States Air Force Airmen of note jazz band. Through the years he has performed with gospel artists such as gospel music icon Dorinda Clark-Cole, Evangelist Beverly Crawford, the Stellar-award winning Mississippi Mass Choir, radio host and BET Sunday Best judge Donnie McClurkin, Minister Scottie Tyrone, Pastor Marvin Sapp, Patrick Preston & Living Sacrifice, Vicki Yohe, Singer/ Songwriter Earnest Pugh, GMWA (Gospel Music Workshops of America) Women’s Choir, YPOP (Young People Of Praise) and Grammy and Stellar Award winner, Leandria Johnson. In 2014 Nathaniel was awarded the opportunity to travel the Western Caribbean touring with B.B. King All Star band upon the Holland America cruise line. He is currently the musical director for award winning southern soul singer, songwriter, and producer Omar Cunningham, R&B songstress-Akami Graham, New Orleans native Jonte Mayon and Jackson, MS native Malcolm Shepherd. One of his current projects is touring with the award winning Motown Revue band “Compozitionz.” Nathaniel works toward perfection in his skill, hopeful that his gift and passion for music will continue to touch and inspire others.

Rita Brent discovered her love for performing arts as a young girl, where she began singing and playing the drum set alongside her mother in church. At age 18 she joined the U.S. Army to serve as a percussionist in the 41st Army National Guard Band. She graduated from the Navy School of Music, served for nine years, and ended her time in service as a Sergeant. Rita went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from Jackson State University, then spent six years as a radio host/producer for NPR-affiliate Mississippi Public Broadcasting. Rita’s drumming talent has taken her all over the world, from Mississippi to Europe. In addition to her musical ability, Rita is a touring stand-up-comedienne, and has shared the stage with Rickey Smiley, Sommore, and the late Dick Gregory. She recently landed roles on Comedy Central’s “Hart of the City,” and truTV’s “Laff Mobb’s Laff Tracks”. Rita takes her purpose in life as an entertainer very seriously, as she realizes it is a way to use her gifts to bring joy into the lives of others worldwide.
