Biography

Since 2003, Lydia Miyashiro-Ho has been Daniel Ho’s business manager, tour manager, project coproducer, and partner in life. A Los Angeles native, she studied history and Asian American Studies at UCLA. She plans and produces all of Daniel’s performances, and as one-half of their independent record label Daniel Ho Creations, she wears the hats of photographer, videographer, graphic designer, liner notes contributor, editor, and occasional song co-writer. She has toured the U.S. and international destinations with Daniel in these various capacities.

Lydia also accompanies Daniel on stage singing background vocals. Typical to her personality, she prefers being behind-the-scenes in every aspect of the production process. A recent big step into the limelight, she recently received her first ever Grammy-nomination as bass player on the album “East West Players Presents Daniel Ho & Friends Live in Concert.”
