Auditions are typically held online March. Selected bands will be given a 15-minute audition slot on their selected day. AMA will work with bands to assign their first choice of audition time. All applying band members must be available for the virtual audition.
Final bands will be selected based on the following:
- Demonstrated outstanding musical talent, aptitude in live performance and educational programming, and adaptable skills for international audiences.
- High artistic standards.
- A creative presentation of genre and education materials.
- Demonstrated commitment to education.
- Knowledge of and experience in Music Business.
- Experience and/or potential to thrive as cultural diplomats.
